That’s why we designed My SOS Family to be user-friendly, quick, and dependable. Thousands of people trust our service, and we’ve been featured in the media and on TV. When you sign up, you’ll also get the My SOS Family app for your Android or iPhone, which connects to the Alexa Skill for sending out emergency SOS alerts.

2. For a quick shortcut, say, “Alexa, open My SOS Family and send for help.”
Cool Features:
SOS countdown Timer (similar to an Egg Timer) that sends S.O.S. Alerts when the timer hits zero unless you cancel it.
Quick way to kick off the SOS timer: Just say, “Alexa, open My SOS Family and set the timer for [30 minutes],” or whatever time you need. You can also do it this way:
– Say “Alexa, open My SOS Family,”
– Alexa will ask: “Do you want to send for help?”
– If you say no,
– Alexa will follow up with: “What would you like to do?”
– Just say “set timer for [15 minutes]”
The SOS timer runs in the cloud, so if anything happens to you, your device, Wi-Fi, or there’s a power cut at home, we’ll still notify your SOS contacts when the timer runs out.
Smartphone app backup system.
Download the My SOS Family app from the Apple or Google App Store to send emergency alerts when you’re on the go or if Alexa is offline.
Free speed-dial backup system.
You can use your landline or a basic cell phone to speed dial a special personal SOS number we provide. We’ll notify everyone and send a link with your recorded message that has important info. Just enter your landline or basic cell number when you set up your My SOS Family account.
You can choose to alert everyone at once or just one person at a time.
Send check-in updates via emails/notifications to keep your “check-in Contacts” informed that you’ve made it home safely.

Keep in mind:
– Your contacts don’t need an app, data, or Wi-Fi to get alerts.
– Your Skill needs Alexa to be online to work. If there’s no Wi-Fi or Internet, use the My SOS Family app or your landline as a backup.
