Log In or Sign Up
If you already have a Paytm account, log in using your registered mobile number and password. If you are a new user, you will need to sign up and create a Paytm account.
Access the Bank Section
Once you are logged in, you’ll see various options on the app’s home screen. Look for an option like Bank or Payments Bank and tap on it.
Add a Bank Account:
- Tap on “Add Bank Account” or a similar option.
- You may be asked to grant permission for the app to access your device’s location, contacts, and SMS. This is for security and verification purposes.
- Provide the necessary details, which may include your bank account number, IFSC code, and your name as it appears in your bank records.
- After entering the required information, tap on the “Proceed” or “Add Account” button.
Paytm may send an OTP (One-Time Password) to your registered mobile number for verification. Enter this OTP when prompted.
Set Up UPI PIN
If you are linking a bank account for UPI transactions, you will need to set up a UPI PIN. Follow the on-screen instructions to create a UPI PIN. This is typically a 4-6 digit number used to authorize UPI transactions.
Once your bank account is successfully linked, you will receive a confirmation message.
You can now use your linked bank account to make various transactions through the Paytm app, including recharging your mobile, paying bills, sending money to contacts, and more.
