Himachal Pradesh Electricity
Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Limited also known as HPSEBL for short. HPSEBL is a government-run electricity board in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India. The Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board was constituted on September 1, 1971 under the provisions of the Electricity Supply Act 1948 2.
Government provides access to electricity to all the people to meet their daily needs. It is not only a daily need but also a luxury need and is growing in these times. Cities are growing to the point where there are no people using electricity.
Electricity generation is increasing and people are avoiding unnecessary use of electricity. People charge some fee to the government for using electricity. This fee is set to be paid monthly. This electricity bill is paid directly to the electricity office. But nowadays more and more online payment system has been introduced. We will see one of them in detail now.
Himachal Pradesh Electricity Bill Payment
Step: 1
You need to login to Google Chrome. HPSEB should be done during the search phase. If you look at the first link, it will say Welcome to HPSEBL. Click on it.
Step: 2
After clicking you will see the home page of that image. On that home page you have to click on Quick Energy Bill Payments option.
Step: 3
How are you going to pay? They should have given such an option. It will ask if you are going to pay through HDFC Bank Debit Card Credit Card Net Banking or through Paytm App through Debit Card Credit Card Net Banking or through Bharat Bill Payment or through yes Bank bill payment through RTGS/NEFT.
Step: 4
Now we have to select payment method through Paytm app. In Bill Pay Electricity option they have given two options namely Electricity Boards and Apartment. In that you have to select Electricity Board. If you look below that, your state information will be given. You will be asked to type your consumer number. You have to type the consumer number. Then you have to click on the proceed button below which will appear in the next image.
Step: 5
You will get all the information about your name, consumer number, on which date you will pay the bill, on which date you will pay the bill, the amount of the bill and the location. Below that, click on the Bill Pay Now button and the next image will appear.
Step: 6
In that image they have given your state name, your consumer number and how much amount to pay. Finally click on proceed to pay button.
Step: 7
You will be asked how to pay through your paytm QR code. After clicking on the login button below that.
Step: 8
It will ask for username and password. You have to type the username and password. After typing, click on proceed security button.
Step: 9
Then an OTP will be sent to the mobile number provided by Paytm Up for verification. Look at that OTP SMS and fill in the field as asked. After filling, you have to click on the verified button.
Step: 10
After clicking you will get the images Waiting for operator confirmation in the next image. It will be a payment confirmation for you. It will show that your payment has been made In good order. In this way you can easily make electricity bill payment.
